High Surf Warning

High Surf Warning in South Florida!

There is a sandbar approximately 300 yards straight out from the Boca Raton Inlet, it is about four feet deep and usually never breaks.

Today, a refraction swell off of a cold front produced a North swell with head high waves for local surfers and caused waves to break across the sandbar.

Extra caution was in order for the boaters that dared to venture out today.
