At Custom Yacht Shirts, we have been in business since early 2020.
We are the original and first provider of custom boating apparel and accessories with an on-demand ordering process that simplified online boating apparel.
While there have been plenty of other services who have copied our process to provide on-demand custom boat gear, our team was the first to combine on-demand ordering and fulfillment made for boaters by boaters with a combined 75 years on the water.
Where is your headquarters?
We are located in the boating capital of the USA, South Florida!
Our products are fulfilled through fulfillment processing centers around the globe through own own fulfillment process and our Amazon.com Ordering & Fulfillment solutions.

At Custom Yacht Shirts, we have simplified the process of custom boat apparel and accessories.
Our simple process works as follows:
1. Start an order on our website and upload your boat photo and stern art or boat name photo.
2. Our team creates custom digital boat art from your boat photo and sends you a proof for review and approval.
3. Once your artwork is approved, you can shop our custom boat gear store with over 50+ custom boating products to choose from to feature your unique boat design.
4. Your gear is print and shipped to your dock!
5. You get to show it off on and off the water!

Information on what to expect from a Custom Yacht Shirts order
What do you mean by no minimum orders?
Unlike normal screen printing productions, we do not require minimum orders of each product type for your custom yacht apparel. Order any number of your custom gear, from 1 t-shirt to 1,000 coffee mugs, easily and on-demand.

I see information around your site about 2 fulfillment options? What does that mean?
At Custom Yacht Shirts, we provide our valued boaters with two different options for the fulfillment of their custom boat products.
The first option, which is a default part of any custom boat artwork project with us, allows boaters to choose from over 50+ products in our custom boat gear store here on our website. In this traditional fulfillment option, we fulfill your products right here on our website with our secure and trusted e-commerce checkout. If you have completed boat artwork, you can shop our boat gear store now, inputting your existing customer order number or customer email address to order absolutely anything we offer on-demand!
The second fulfillment option we provide is our Amazon.com Product Ordering & Fulfillment option that uses Amazon.com for the ordering & fulfillment of your custom boating products. With our Amazon.com solution, we set up a private Amazon.com store on a variety of cotton apparel products and accessories that boaters can use their existing Amazon.com account to easily purchase items again and again with ease. Best of all, our Amazon.com fulfillment solution provides free shipping and free returns of any damaged items with an existing Amazon Prime ™ account.
With either fulfillment option, all of the gear is personalized using your completed and approved custom boat art on high quality products that you’ll love to wear!
How long does it take to get my custom gear?
At Custom Yacht Shirts, we work hard to provide a quick turnaround for our boaters.
Our custom boat artwork usually takes us 5-7 business days to complete.
Once you approve your completed artwork, you can shop in our custom boat merchandise store and orders are usually delivered within 1-2 weeks from the date of order.
Where can I see the colors and sizes of apparel that you offer?
For live examples of colors, sizes and styles included in each of our products, the individual product pages within our custom boat merchandise store!
Do you provide front and back printing?
Absolutely!
We offer different print placements depending on the apparel you choose that includes: frontprint only, backprint only, small boat art on the front left chest with full boat art on the back, and small boat name on the front left with full boat art on the back.

For custom orders, please make any applicable notes in the checkout process, or simply contact us for personalized assistance.
Do you provide expedited shipping? What about International shipping?
We currently only provide one shipping option via online ordering.
However, we are more than happy to assist our boaters with custom orders that include expedited shipping at advanced shipping rates.
Please feel free to call or email us for more information and one of our team members will personally walk you through a custom ordering process via email and phone.
How long does this process take in total?
We usually complete the first draft of your boat artwork within 5-7 business days from the start of your order.
From there, once you approve your artwork, you can order any custom boat gear on-demand on our website.
We typically deliver orders of custom apparel and merchandise within 1-2 weeks from the completion of your order.
Please note that holiday delivery times can be higher due to the increased demand of our services.

Will I receive a proof of my completed Boat Artwork?
Absolutely!
We want to make sure that you love your boat artwork before you start buying any custom boat gear.
That’s why we send you a proof that shows your completed boat artwork with your boat name or stern art and optional hailing port, as well as mockups of your art on t-shirts for your consideration.
If you have edits to your art, a member of our team will help you walk through how you would like to change your design.
Otherwise, when you are ready you can approve your artwork and start shopping for your custom gear in our custom boat merchandise store!
What type of photograph do you need of my yacht?
Our artists draw your art from the perspective that is shown in your chosen photograph.
For that reason, we encourage our boaters to choose a “favorite” boat photo that shows off the character of your beloved boat.
Preferably, boat photos should clearly show the details of your unique vessel.
Boat photos must also be large enough for details to show for our artists to maximize your boat art quality.
The photo you provide will be the basis of your order and the art we create will be based around the art provided by you in the ordering process.

Do you offer Free Shipping? What about Returns?
At Custom Yacht Shirts, our boat products are completely custom and cannot be exchanged or returned.
We happily work with our boaters who receive any merchandise damaged on returns or refunds, but cannot accept returns or refunds of custom boat merchandise for any other reason.

Do I have to do my boat artwork with you to shop in your custom boat store?
Absolutely not!
We are happy to work with your existing boat artwork that you got done somewhere else for either our traditional custom product fulfillment or Amazon Fulfillment service.
However, you must be in our system to shop in our store.
Feel free to contact us for personalized service with your existing boat artwork.

What do I receive when I order your custom boat artwork?
Unless you have existing boat artwork, our Custom Boat Artwork is the starting point here at Custom Yacht Shirts.
With every project, here is what you receive:
- Photo of your boat turned into custom digital boat artwork
- Photo of your boat name or stern art turned into custom digital boat artwork
- Delivery of digital proof that includes your completed boat artwork and mockups of how your art looks on sample apparel.
- Unlimited revisions of your boat art until you approve
- Delivery of High-Resolution File of your completed artwork

What type of photograph do you need of my boat?
The photo of your boat that you provide will be the basis of your order and the art we create will be based around the photo provided by you in the ordering process.
To maximize the quality of your artwork, we need a clear photo of your boat from your favorite angle or perspective.
Your artwork will reflect the perspective or angle of your boat as shown in your photo.

What file type do I receive of my completed boat artwork?
Once your artwork is approved, you can easily download high resolution versions of your artwork over 300DPI in PNG format that can be used at other apparel providers, including other online print on demand providers.
How long can I use my artwork with you?
You can continue to use your artwork with us indefinitely.
Once you have approved your artwork with us you can use it within our custom boat gear store for on-demand products anytime.
We store your artwork along with your order details in our database so you can always access your artwork with your digital proof and use it in our custom boat gear store.
What if I just want the digital file of my boat?
No problem!
Once your artwork is approved you can download your high resolution artwork file easily from your digital proof link that we send you and use it anywhere else online or with traditional printers to create your own custom boat gear.
You are under absolutely no obligation to purchase any custom gear with us, although you have the option of using our custom boat merchandise service with no additional setup or additional fees at any point in the future.
Do you provide revisions if I do not like my artwork?
Absolutely.
We are happy to edit and customize your art until you are happy with the result and proud to display it on your custom apparel.
Can I use boat artwork from somewhere else?
Absolutely!
We’re happy to work with artwork from other sources as long as it meets our requirements in terms of high-resolution digital artwork.

Can you add elements to my boat art that don't exist in my photo?
Unfortunately not.
Our artists use your boat photo as the basis of your custom boat artwork.
While we can remove elements (like fenders on the side of your boat, or people and pets) we do not offer a service to add to your art with things that don’t exist in your boat photo.

We are happy to help our boaters find solutions for their custom boat gear.
This includes helping you track down the most accurate photos of oyur boat model for use in our artwork process.
While we recommend using a photo of your unique boat to capture all of your unique details, we happily work with manufacturer photos, etc to help customers who do not have a photo available for use in our process.

What file types do you accept?
We currently accept the following file types:

If I'm using existing artwork what resolution does it need to be?
If you’re using your existing digital yacht art, we will need a minimum high resolution of 300 DPI in your submitted art files.
There are things we want to remove in our boat photo...can that be done?
Yes, we are happy to remove elements from your boat photo from your life on the water.
This includes things like towels, floats, buoys, fenders, etc.
Just let us know your unique requests when our team first reaches out to you about your order and we’re happy to help!
I'm not sure if my boat photo is good enough...can you look at it before I order?
Yes!
Feel free to send us your boat photos by email and our team will have a look and confirm that they will work for our process.
If there are any issues, our team will personally help walk you through the process to help you find a better photo alternative.
I have art from one of your competitors...can you work with that?
Absolutely.
We are happy to work with your existing artwork from other sources.

What's the maximum file size I can attach to my order?
Our checkout process will allow for a total of 10MB for your uploads.
If you’re having any trouble, simply email us and we’ll assist with your order personally.
How long does it take to convert my boat photo to digital art?
We usually estimate 5-7 business days to delivery of your first completed artwork proof.
What color format do my art or photos need to be?
We can work with RGB or CMYK color formats.
I want to add elements to my boat artwork that doesn't exist in my photo....can that be done?
Unfortunately not.
We use the photo that you submit as the basis of your digital artwork.
While we can easily remove elements from your artwork, we cannot add other boating elements to your artwork that do not exist in the photo as our artists use your image to accurately trace the boat as shown.

My boat photo is small and fuzzy...will that work?
In order to capture the unique details of your boat we need a clear image that our artists can easily convert.
While we are happy to work with lower quality photos, the results of the details in your artwork will reflect the clarity and quality of your chosen and submit boat photo.

I don't have a good photo of my boat? What can I do?

We are happy to help our boaters find solutions for their custom boat gear.
This includes helping you track down the most accurate photos of your boat model for use in our artwork process.
While we recommend using a photo of your unique boat to capture all of your unique details, we happily work with manufacturer photos, etc to help customers who do not have a photo available for use in our process.

How can I know how items fit?
Here at Custom Yacht Shirts, we use popular product blanks from trusted and popular clothing brands.
On each individual product page for apparel products, we have included a sizing guide that shows the unique sizes of different products.
Please refer to these specific sizing guides for accurate information about the sizing of each product.
As custom products, we cannot offer refunds for items that don’t fit so please select your sizing carefully!
What do you mean by on-demand orders?
Our on-demand process means that you can order your custom boat gear when you need it with the need for print preparation and traditional screen printing setup fees.

Once the setup of your store is complete, our team will email you access to your private links that you can easily order and re-order from in the future.
